Founded in 2026, Mayfly is a student-run Pomona College-based literary/arts magazine partnered with 5C Pens and Poetry that focuses on unconventional creative work.
Mayfly prints semesterly.
It is our belief that art and artists are freest when unrestricted in their choice of delivery, and our goal is to provide a platform for any and all works of art and literature. When you give us something, we are less interested in what it's called, and more interested in what it does. Constraint has its place, but so does play, so play with form.

Mayfly focuses not just on the student community, but the Claremont/LA artist community as a whole, working to foster a connection between the 5Cs arts scene and the world around it. This means we publish both student and non-student voices.
